Zack Snyder teases Joker for Justice League Snyder Cut
Justice League is returning with a brand-new and … various cut, thanks to initial director Zack Snyder. And it appears that cut will consist of Jared Leto’s Joker, total with a makeover that Snyder teased on Twitter on Tuesday.
When Justice League was initially in production, it was reported that Leto’s Joker would be making a post-Suicide Team return in Snyder’s film. However thanks to the Justice League’s rocky production and many edits, Joker didn’t make it into the theatrical release. It appears that Snyder’s including the clown prince of criminal offense back into the movie for the Snyder Cut variation, which will be launched on HBO Max in March.
Snyder’s tweet consisted of an image of a gloved hand holding a Joker card, in addition to a blurred picture of the Joker in the background. Snyder likewise tagged both Leto and Suicide Team director David Ayer in the tweet.
While this is definitely a various appearance than the tattoo-covered, short-haired Suicide Team Joker, it isn’t totally unexpected. In November 2020, Snyder exposed to Beyond the Trailer’s Grace Randolph that the Joker would be getting a makeover. Based upon the picture, it appears we can anticipate a Joker with longer hair, potentially more standard makeup, and perhaps even a couple of less tattoos.
Whatever Leto’s brand-new Joker appearance is, we likely won’t need to wait long to see it. In another Twitter tease, launched quickly after Snyder’s tweet, Randolph recommends that we may get another sneak peek on Valentine’s Day.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League, in its complete, reedited kind, will be launched on HBO Max on March 18.
