Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is almost here, set to be released on April 28, 2023, so a lot of players have been wondering if the new Respawn Entertainment game will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
As the game is being published by EA, if we look back at the company and its relationship with Microsoft’s game subscription service there is a possibility of the game arriving to Game Pass. However, as of this day there has been no announcement made of the game coming to the service at launch.
Subscribers to Game Pass do have access to a wide variety of EA games through a collaboration with the EA Play service, which includes almost the entire catalog of games by said company, but Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not slated to arrive there either. It’s no surprise though, as the newest Star Wars game is shaping up to be a huge hit around the world. If it does come to any of these subscriptions it’s likely to happen down the road, after it’s had time to sell as many copies as possible in full price during its launch window.
Cal Kestis: Jedi Survivor
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a direct sequel to Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, released in November of 2019. Survivor takes place five years after the original, and shows us a rougher Cal Kestis still running from the Empire, and figuring out what it takes to survive. The first trailers showed him accompanied only by his small droid friend, BD-1, which was a huge departure from the original where he traveled alongside the crew of the Mantis.
However, recently it’s been revealed that he’ll form a new crew, comprised of old and new allies, and it’s also been shown that there seems to be a small base town that will be populated and rebuilt by characters you meet throughout the adventure.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches April 28, 2023, and it’ll be available exclusively on new generation consoles (Ps5 and Xbox Series X) and PC.
