Weekend schedules – Clash in L.A., Daytona Speedweeks

Tentative schedules have actually been launched for next month’s exhibit Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and season-opening Daytona Speedweeks.

The Clash will be hosted Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 5-6 on a short-term quarter-mile oval inside the Coliseum. The two-day format consists of practice, heat races and last possibility qualifiers to assist set the 23-car field for the Clash on Feb. 6.

On-track activity at Daytona International Speedway starts Tuesday, Feb. 15 ahead of season-opening races that weekend for the NASCAR Outdoor Camping World Truck, Xfinity and Cup Series, in addition to the ARCA Menards Series nationwide trip. The 64th Daytona 500 (Cup) occurs Sunday, Feb. 20.
