Washington running back J.D. McKissic leaves game with injury
Washington running back J.D. McKissic scored both of the WFT’s goals in the group’s 17-15 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football.
Regrettably, McKissic didn’t complete the video game as he was hurt on a third-down reception on Washington’s last drive. Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke, dealing with a third-and-14, faltered brief to McKissic to get enough backyards to go all out on 4th down.
As McKissic was decreasing, Seattle security Quandre Diggs struck McKissic, and he was down on the field for a number of minutes. Although McKissic was staying up and moving, Washington’s medical personnel drew out the cart to take McKissic into the locker space for more assessment.
Head coach Ron Rivera provided no upgrade on McKissic’s injury after the video game.
McKissic is an important part of Washington’s offense, as evidenced by his efficiency on Monday night. McKissic ended up the video game with 30 hurrying backyards and a goal, and 5 receptions for 26 backyards and another goal.
We’ll keep you published on McKissic’s status throughout the week.
