Vacationers, Locals Brace For Henri’s Impact On Jersey Shore – CBS Philly
OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) — Those living and vacationing down the Jersey Coast are bracing for harmful conditions. In Ocean City, Henri might have removed any hopes of seeing the sun.
However it didn’t stop individuals from striking the boardwalk.

“I am surprised because it makes me feel good that I’m not the only crazy one,” Scott Patterson stated.
And what about striking the beach?
“It’s pretty fun,” Kelly Brennan stated. “Got some fun waves before the big swell comes in tomorrow.”
The storm is anticipated to bring heavy rain and high winds with the capacity of flash flooding throughout Sunday night.
Internet users state they’re benefiting from Henri’s impacts on the water.
“I know it’s going up the coast and it’s going to hit New England,” Brennan stated. “I know it’s going to send us waves, but like good waves.”

Cole Wilkinson, a beachgoer, informed CBS3 he’s been bodyboarding and surfing.
And while web surfers are capturing waves, households like the Roberts are taking pleasure in the view
“I don’t really watch the weather that much and we already had our vacation planned to come here,” Rob Roberts stated. “Now we walked down the boardwalk and saw surfers and we decided to watch them surf.”
However for services along the coast, rainy days have actually messed up sales.
“When it rains like this it kinda just crushed the day,” Gage Fox, the supervisor of George’s Beach, stated. “It’s a rainout, this crowd is nothing, it’s not what you’d expect on a regular Saturday especially.”
Fox states they’ve been keeping an eye on the storm and they hope the sun shines earlier instead of later on.
