The ‘Sex and the City’ revival will address the Covid-19 pandemic
The pandemic will “clearly become part of the story since that’s the city [these characters] reside in,” Parker told the publication, adding, “I have excellent faith that the authors are going to analyze all of it.”
The show, titled, “And Easily,” will feature the women, who will now be in their 50s.
“I believe that Cynthia, Kristin, and I are all delighted about the time that has passed,” Parker said. “You understand, who are they in this world now? Have they adjusted? What part have they played? Where have they failed as females, as good friends, and how are they discovering their method? Did they move with momentum? Are they like some individuals who are puzzled, threatened, worried [by what’s happening in the world]? I’m so curious and thrilled to see how the authors picture these females today.”
Parker stated that the series will likewise resolve Carrie Bradshaw’s profession as an author, her style sense and her relationship with social networks.
The program will consist of 10 half-hour episodes and will be executive produced by Michael Patrick King.
