WYOMING, MI — A 15-year-old was shot and injured during a reported attempted armed robbery of a South Division Avenue business.
Wyoming police responded about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 to a business at 3530 S. Division Avenue for a hold-up alarm.
A short time later, police received a call about a wounded teen near the business.
The teen was taken to a hospital for treatment and was last known to be in serious condition.
Wyoming police said the teen was alleged to have earlier been with two other people at the South Division Avenue business. Officers were told they were involved in an attempted robbery.
Police did not give details how the 15-year-old was shot.
The two people with the teen fled the area on foot before police arrived.
