Microsoft Game Pass vs PlayStation Plus in South Africa

Sony launched its Xbox Game Pass competitor — PlayStation Plus — on 23 June 2022, offering three monthly subscription tiers ranging from R119 to R209. Comparatively, Microsoft charges R79 per month for its Xbox- or PC-only subscription and R119 for its Game Pass Ultimate plan. MyBroadband compared the two gaming subscription services in terms of pricing and the titles they offer. PlayStation Plus is available on three subscription plans for PlayStation 4 and 5 players — Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. PlayStation Uninvolved With Death Stranding’s Xbox Game Pass Release

PlayStation has confirmed that it has nothing to do with Death Stranding's Xbox Game Pass PC release. After Hideo Kojima split with Konami in 2015, it only took a few months for him to confirm he'd be partnering with PlayStation on his next game. He'd still be an independent developer, meaning his studio is not owned by Sony. Sony offered to publish and fronted some money for Kojima to make a new game. It seemed like he was able to make whatever he wanted, as he made probably his weirdest game yet with untraditional gameplay. It was received well by critics and even performed well commercially. New Xbox Feature Is Great for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers

A new Xbox feature across Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X  is great for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. With Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate growing in popularity, it's important that Microsoft start improving some of the minor issues with the subscription service. For example, subscribers have been calling for more transparency about how long games are available via the subscription service. Unfortunately, there's still no word of this being improved. That said, a similarly minor, but annoying issue is being resolved. Microsoft is set to make it easier to tell what games in your library and dashboard can and can't be played by introducing two new badges that will provide information to the players on what is required to play said game.
