NEW DELHI: Keeping up the high tempo of bilateral and multilateral air combat wargames, the Indian Air Force is now all set to kick off an exercise with the US Air Force (USAF) at the Kalaikunda airbase in West Bengal this month.The `Cope India’ exercise from April 10 to 21 will “further enhance operational capability and interoperability between the two air forces”. NEW DELHI: Going full-throttle for multi-nation air combat wargames, India on Sunday dispatched Mirage-2000 fighters and other aircraft for the 'Cobra Warrior' exercise in the United Kingdom.Five Mirage-2000 jets, two C-17 Globemaster-III strategic airlift planes and one IL-78 mid-air refuelling aircraft, along with 145 IAF personnel, flew from the Jamnagar air-base for the exercise at Waddington in the UK."The Cobra Warrior, scheduled from March 6 to 24, is a multilateral exercise in which air forces from the US, Finland, Sweden, South Africa and Singapore will be participating, alongside the Royal Air Force and IAF.
