Thane: A group of fitness enthusiasts from Thane have complained of nuisance from rash drivers on certain popular stretches in the city including Hiranandani Meadows, Estate and Upwan, and are requesting authorities to take corrective action and avert a possible repeat of Worli mishap.A team led by avid runner and activist Dr Mahesh Bedekar, met municipal commissioner Abhijit Bangar and are also planning to meet the police commissioner Jaijeet Singh apprising them of the urgent need for having a safety mechanism in place for the fitness enthusiasts.
