Tractor trailer crash on Highway 11 impacts traffic – Barrie

Ontario Provincial Police in Orillia are investigating a tractor-trailer crash on Highway 11 on Monday morning. Police say the crash happened just after 6:30 a.m., just north of Line 14.All southbound lanes were still closed as of 8:50 a.m. while OPP investigate, and Northbound lanes were reduced to a single lane. Story continues below advertisement Orillia OPP, along with Oro-Medonte Fire, and County of Simcoe Paramedics, responded to a single-vehicle collision where a southbound tractor-trailer struck the guard rail. OPP lay charges after three-vehicle crash in Mapleton, Ont.

Wellington County OPP completed an investigation into a multi-vehicle crash in Mapleton. They along with Mapleton Fire/Rescue, Guelph Wellington Paramedic Service, and Hydro One were called to the intersection of Wellington Road 7 and Wellington Road 12 around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.Investigators say a tractor-trailer carrying a load of logs collided with an SUV and a minivan.They say the impact of the crash also caused damage at a nearby home, including a couple of vehicles, a large propane tank, the lawn and hydro services. 2 seniors dead after Norfolk County, Ont. crash: OPP

Two seniors have been identified as the people killed in a crash Thursday afternoon in Norfolk County, Ont. OPP say the collision between an SUV and another vehicle happened around 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 24 and Concession 7 in Townsend.Officers say driver of the car died at the scene while the passenger was airlifted to hospital where they later died.Police have identified them as 90-year-old Karl Tabe and 80-year-old Kathleen Tabe, both of Norfolk County. One person is dead following a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle west of Guelph. Wellington County OPP were called to an area on Hwy. 7 just west of Wellington Rd. 32 in Guelph/Eramosa Township around 11:30 p.m. Friday.Investigators say two passenger vehicles and a motorcycle were involved in the collision.Local fire departments along with Guelph-Wellington paramedics were also at the scene.
