‘Suspicious’ Envelopes Taped To Sorority & Fraternity Houses Part Of Scavenger Hunt – CBS Denver
STONE, Colo. (CBS4) – The Stone Cops Department states their examination into white envelopes taped to the front doors of 6 sorority and fraternity homes at the University of Colorado exposes it belonged to a scavenger hunt. Private investigators stated each envelope consisted of a CD with audio from the Lawbreaker Minds tv program about burning down a home.

Cops stated the envelopes were taped to the doors around 1:30 a.m. on Monday.

When authorities launched security video, those included stepped forward and determined themselves to authorities. Officers stated at this moment, no criminal activity is thought.

“There were several students’ parents concerned that their safety was in danger. We got a lot of messages last night so we were glad we able to put out information to determine what was going on to allay their fears. People were quite scared last night,” stated Stone Cops Department representative Dionne Waugh.
