Suspect robbed bank across the street from police headquarters

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A suspect is implicated of robbing a bank that was simply throughout the street from the Green Bay Authorities Head Office.

Late Thursday early morning, Green Bay Authorities stated officers were contacted us to the Chase Bank situated at 200 South Adams Street, throughout the street from the Authorities Head office, for a 911 bank burglary call.

Authorities stated officers were informed that the suspect had actually provided a note and robbed the bank of an undetermined quantity of cash.

Authorities looked for the suspect in the location. Their search consisted of getting in touch with individuals at the Quality Inn and Suites, situated about one block far from the Chase bank that was robbed, and offering details about the burglary and the suspect’s description.

Less than an hour after the burglary, cops stated they got a pointer that the suspect was waiting on a trip in the hotel lobby. Officers took the suspect into custody and recuperated more than $20,460 from the suspect.

“I don’t think he realized both the bank he robbed and his get-away hideout were all within a block of Green Bay Police Headquarters,” Green Bay Authorities Chief Andrew Smith mentioned in an authorities press release.

The suspect was scheduled into the Brown County prison and is being hung on bank burglary charges.
