St. Louis police seek shooting, kidnapping suspect

ST. LOUIS — Authorities are searching for a male believed of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend Sunday after shooting her and her mom at a filling station.

The suspect was determined as 31-year-old Eric Rogers. Authorities caution he is thought about armed and really hazardous. Anybody with details need to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS(8477). He was last seen driving an absence Chrysler 200 with tinted windows and black rims.

Authorities stated the event took place at about 10 a.m. while the mom and child, ages 39 and 20, were at the Mobil Gasoline Station on 3710 North Grand Blvd. in the Fairgrounds area.

The mom stated she was pumping gas when she heard her child shout as she was leaving the shop. She stated she then saw Rogers, her child’s ex-boyfriend, dragging her by her t-shirt and tossing her into his vehicle.

The mom pulled her child from the vehicle and they both attempted to run back into the shop. That’s when Rogers took out a pistol and shot them both, cops stated. The mom was shot in the leg and the child was grazed in the leg. He then dragged his ex back into his vehicle and repelled.

He later on dropped her off at a house on Capitol Hill Drive and after that left.

Both victims were dealt with at a location medical facility. St. Louis cops didn’t have an upgrade on their conditions Monday early morning however stated their vitals were steady.
