‘Sex and the City’ spinoff ‘And Just Like That’ teaser-trailer is out — with a launch date

In a teaser-trailer launched Friday, streaming service HBO Max revealed that the brand-new 10-part spinoff series “And Just Like That…” will debut on December 9.

The very first 2 episodes will air on that date, with the next 8 episodes premiering each Thursday after that, HBO Max stated in a news release.

Explained by HBO Max as a “new chapter” of the initial hit program, “And Just Like That…” will follow fashionistas Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda — played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, respectively — as they browse life in their 50s.

HBO Max and CNN share a moms and dad business, WarnerMedia.

The initial series “Sex and the City” worked on HBO from 1998 to 2004 and was produced by Darren Star, based upon the book of the very same name by Candace Bushnell.

It followed the ladies as they experienced the ups and downs of love, professions and relationship in their 30s.

5 fashion takeaways from the 'Sex and the City' reboot

Kim Cattrall, who starred as Samantha in the initial 90s and 00s program, will not return for the reboot, which will include some brand-new faces along with old good friends.

Previously this year, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon published teasers about the upcoming series on their Instagram pages, with shots of New york city City along with the text “And just like that… the story continues…”
