Roundup of Week 4 games for South Jersey high school football

The Cinnaminson High School football team completed a thrilling comeback for a 27-23 victory on its home field over rival Delran before a large and loud crowd on Friday night.

The Pirates pulled off a nine-play, 69-yard drive for the decisive score, culminating with senior quarterback Jack Zarnawski’s 3-yard run with 1 minute, 16 seconds left in regulation, pushing the team’s unbeaten streak to four.

Zarnawski finished with three rushing touchdowns and Kyle Willis ran for another score for Cinnaminson.

Delran (0-5) rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take a 23-19 lead with nine minutes left. The Bears scored twice in less than a minute as Derek Namnun rushed for a touchdown and Ezra Thomas returned an interception for another score.

After Zarnawski gave Cinnaminson the lead, junior Anthony Udotong put the game on ice with an interception for the Pirates, who avenged a 42-8 loss to Delran last year.
