Primal Peanut Butter Cups | Mark’s Daily Apple

With Halloween simply around the corner, we couldn’t let the event pass without sharing a Primal reward for excellent enjoyable. While we’re not promoting the normal sugar spree, a little something can feel joyful particularly if you’re playing host.

These nut butter cups provide on richness (and sweet taste) and use a more natural option to the packaged, preservative-filled sweets most will get in their pumpkins that night. Collect the little ghosts and evil spirits to assist you in the cooking area. This dish is simple, quickly, and family-friendly.

Note: You can replace almond butter for the peanut butter utilized in this dish, and it will end up terrific—simply as tasty!

Servings: 24 cups

Time In the Kitchen Area: 20 minutes

Active Ingredients:

  • ½ cup smooth natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 15 ounces dark (60%) chocolate chips or bar (sliced carefully)

Directions:

Include the nut butter, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, coconut flour, honey, and vanilla extract to a food mill or mixer and mix up until integrated, stopping to scrape the sides and mixing once again. Set mix aside. Melt the chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil over a double boiler on low heat.

Line a 24-cup mini muffin tin with paper cups, or utilize a silicone mini muffin container. Spoon a teaspoon filled with melted chocolate into the bottom of each cup. Spoon a tablespoon of nut butter on top of each cup.

Cover nut butter equally with the staying melted chocolate. Chill up until company, about 2 hours. Shop in a covered, cool and dry location.
