Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie comes to Netlix June 3

The very first Sailor Moon motion picture in 26 years is concerning Netflix. On Tuesday, the streaming platform revealed that Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Motion Picture Part 1 and Part 2 will both make their international launching beyond Japan on June 3, 2021.

The movies — which premiered in Japan in Jan. and Feb. 2021, respectively — are an extension of Sailor Moon Crystal, the 2014 reboot of the critical 1992 anime. Crystal aims to be a more loyal adjustment of the initial manga by Naoko Takeuchi. Here’s a summary, per Netflix:

The approaching experiences are embeded in April, when the cherry blooms remain in blossom and Tokyo remains in a joyful state of mind as it commemorates the biggest Overall Solar Eclipse of the century. As the brand-new moon obscures the sun and slowly dims its light, Usagi and Chibi-Usa encounter Pegasus, who remains in search of the picked Maiden who can break the seal of the Golden Crystal. On the other hand, a strange performers called the Dead Moon Circus appears in the area whose dubious strategy is to spread the headache versions called Lemures, take the ‘Legendary Silver Crystal,’ guideline over the moon and the earth, and ultimately control the whole universe…
