Pete Davidson and Colin Jost joke about buying Staten Island Ferry boat during Weekend Update on ‘SNL

The “Saturday Night Live” stars joked about their current purchase of a Staten Island Ferryboat throughout the program’s Weekend Update.

The sector started with a widely known act called Man Who Simply Bought A Boat, helmed by “SNL” star Alex Moffat.

“We’re boat people now, Colin,” Davidson stated at one point. “I mean, you always were. You look like you own the yacht they rent out for rap videos.”

To which Jost responded with a laugh, “It’s very exciting. We thought the whole thing through.”

It was exposed by The New york city Post over the weekend that the comics purchased a decommissioned Staten Island Ferryboat boat for $280,100 along with Paul Italia, who owns The Stand funny club. It’s a fitting purchase, given that both Jost and Davidson are from Staten Island.

The ferryboat is called after President John F. Kennedy. Italia informed the outlet that they wish to ultimately turn it into a club.
