One arrested in face stomping in Waterloo | Crime and Courts
A Waterloo male has actually been detained for supposedly stomping on another male’s head throughout a battle over the weekend.
Waterloo cops detained Dylan Ray Gustafson, 21, of 433 Kingsley Ave., on Saturday for one count of willful injury triggering severe injury. Bond was set at $25,000.
According to court records, Austin Beverly was associated with an argument with Gustafson’s cousin at 307 Adams St. around 5 a.m. Saturday. Throughout the argument, Gustafson got Beverly, tossed him to the ground and stomped on his face, records state.
Beverly suffered a damaged nose and a skull fracture, and he was required to a regional medical facility for treatment. Officers discovered blood on Gustafson’s sweatshirt and shoes in addition to a video of the attack, according to court records.
