Nets’ Spencer Dinwiddie undergoes knee surgery, expected to make full recovery
The Nets announced that guard Spencer Dinwiddie underwent successful surgery to repair his torn ACL on Monday morning.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Riley Williams III at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and he is expected to make a full recovery and begin rehab next week, according to the team.
Dinwiddie partially tore his ACL in the Nets’ third game of the season against the Charlotte Hornets.
He only out up 6.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in his brief 2020-21 campaign, but he had the best season of his career last year, where he dropped 20.6 points, grabbed 3.5 boards, and dished out 6.8 assists per contest.
