Netflix’s Witcher anime has a new trailer and a release date

Netflix’s animated Witcher film is practically here. The Witcher: Problem of the Wolf got a brand-new trailer throughout Netflix and CD Projekt Red’s WitcherCon, in addition to a release date of Aug. 23.

The trailer itself is light on information, however we understand that the film is set to follow Vesemir, a veteran Witcher of Kaer Morhen. The film is directed by Han Kwang II and composed by Beau de Mayo, who both function as manufacturers on the film, along with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the showrunner of The Witcher. Problem of the Wolf is animated by Studio MIR, the studio behind Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Protector and The Legend of Korra.

Throughout WitcherCon, Netflix likewise revealed that The Witcher season 2 will get here on the streaming service later on this year on Dec. 17.
