Netflix developing animated series with Meghan, Dutchess of Sussex

Netflix on Tuesday revealed it is establishing a brand-new animated series with Meghan and Archewell Productions, the production attire established by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The series, tentatively entitled “Pearl,” has to do with the experiences of a 12-year-old woman, who is “inspired by a variety of influential women from history,” according to a news release.

“Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges,” stated Meghan in a declaration. “I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history.”

Meghan will work as an executive manufacturer, along with David Furnish (“Rocketman”) and others.

Amanda Rynda (“DC Super Hero Girls”) had actually boarded the job as showrunner and executive manufacturer.

Megan Casey, director of initial animation at Netflix, explained the job as one that “weaves together fantasy and history.”

“Pearl” would be the very first animated series from Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions.

The set is currently working with Netflix on a docuseries about the Invictus Games.
Meghan just recently released her very first kids’s book, “The Bench.”
