Michaela Coel joins the cast of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

The movie will be the follow up to Marvel’s “Black Panther,” and Range reports that Coel is presently shooting at Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios, where production started last month.

She signs up with an ensemble cast that consists of Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett

Coel composed and starred in the HBO Max series “I May Destroy You.” She got 4 Emmy elections for her work on the program previously this month.

Coel’s other credits consist of the Netflix programs “Black Mirror” and “Chewing Gum,” and the function movies “Been So Long” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

Coel’s character in “Wakanda Forever” is not yet understood.

The script was revamped following Chadwick Boseman’s death from colon cancer a year earlier.

The movie is set to for release in July 2022.
