Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen ‘deeply saddened’ by Bob Saget’s death

The twins, who as children shared the function of Michelle Tanner on the hit comedy “Full House,” grieved the loss of Bob Saget, who dropped dead Sunday at the age of 65.

Saget played the household patriarch on the series, which ran for 8 seasons starting in 1987.

“Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has,” the twin sis, now 35, stated in a declaration to Individuals publication. “We are thinking of his daughters, wife and family and are sending our condolences.”

Saget went on to repeat his function in the Netflix follow up “Fuller House.” The program ran from 2016 to 2020.

And while the Olsens have actually left acting and now helm a style empire, they stayed near Saget, whom they satisfied when they began on “Full House” as babies.

“Ashley and Mary-Kate, I love so much,” he stated in 2021 throughout a look on Within You With Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast. “When I’m in New York or when they’re here, when we can, we see each other.”

CNN has actually connected to representatives for the Olsens.
