Man shoots car wash employee after dispute over vacuum in the Bronx

VAN NEST, Bronx (WABC) — A cars and truck wash worker is speaking up and informing his story after he was shot on the job following a conflict over a vacuum.

The event taken place Oct. 17 at B & G Automobile Wash on East Tremont Opportunity.

The 26-year-old worker was approached by the suspect attempting to vacuum his own lorry.

It ought to have been a calm discussion, however it ended up being warmed when the victim informed the male it cost $10 however the suspect argued it was $5.

“He was pissed because he thought I was trying to make him look cheap,” the victim stated.

The male madly left and returned thirty minutes later on, showed a weapon and shot the victim.

“He didn’t say anything,” the victim stated. “I did see the gun before he shot me, he pulled out the gun, he yelled ‘yo boss man’ that’s when I looked up and saw the gun.”

He was struck in the leg and turmoil emerged as the suspect removed.

The victim is fortunate to be alive and is still recuperating.

“Sometimes it’s hard to fold my leg or stand for a while,” the victim stated. “It’s crazy world me live in, always got to watch your back.”

The victim states he prepares to come to work which’s precisely what he will be doing – and monitoring his shoulder.
