Lil Nas X claps back after criticism for kissing male backup dancer

The rap artist, who wore a sophisticated dress to stroll the carpet, admired Michael Jackson’s “Remember The Time” video throughout his Egyptian-themed efficiency of his single, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).”

At the end, the “Old Town Road” star passionately kissed among his male backup dancers, which won him a standing ovation from some members of the audience, consisting of “Pose” star Mj Rodriguez.

However not everybody enjoyed about it, and there was some reaction on social networks.

After someone tweeted that the rap artist should not have actually utilized African culture for such a display screen, advising that he must “respect our ancestors,” Lil Nas X reacted by tweeting, “y’all really like to pretend homosexuality didn’t exist in african culture.”
