John Gotti III gets next assignment, set to return at CES MMA 62

John Gotti III is back.

Coming off a loss for the very first time as an expert martial artist, Gotti (5-1) gets the chance to rebound April 30 at CES Mixed Martial Arts 62 when he handles Jared Chauvin in a welterweight bout, the promo revealed Tuesday. The occasion occurs at Caribe Royal Orlando in Orlando, Fla., and streams on UFC Battle Pass.

Gotti, the grand son of the notorious New york city mobster, was unbeaten when he went into CES Mixed Martial Arts 61 in October. In his very first look in 9 months, Gotti lost a unanimous choice to New Hampshire’s Nick Street. The battle was just the 2nd time Gotti went the range as a pro. 4 of his 5 wins came inside the range through strikes.

Chauvin (3-2), a rival from Michigan, is coming off back-to-back losses through TKO. The 35-year-old has 2 consentaneous choice triumphes and one TKO success on his resume.

CES Mixed Martial Arts 62 is headlined by a set of 135-pound title removers. Diego Silva (12-6) fights Andrew Whitney (16-8). Dinis Paiva (13-8) battles Josh Smith (9-6). The winners will battle on a future card for the CES Mixed Martial Arts bantamweight champion.
