Jake Paul to fight Tommy Fury in December
Jake Paul has his next challenger, and it’s a real fighter. Paul will handle British fighter Tommy Fury on Dec. 18.
The battle was revealed Friday, days after Paul stated a match with Fury “doesn’t cut it.”
Fury, 22, is the half bro of fighter Tyson Fury. He is 7-0 in his expert profession. 4 of Fury’s wins have actually come over knockout.
Paul, 24, is 4-0 in his profession. His last win was available in August, when he beat mixed martial arts fighter Tyron Woodley in a split choice.
Paul continued talking garbage to Fury on Friday, and exposed tickets for the battle will go on sale Nov. 10.
Tommy Fury is an action up for Jake Paul
The battle must offer Paul with his greatest difficulty yet. Paul’s first two fights came against opponents with no fighting history — YouTuber AnEsonGib and former NBA player Nate Robinson. Paul took on Ben Askren and Woodley next. Both men have martial arts experience, but never specialized in boxing.
Fury started fighting professionally in 2018. He took a break from the sport in 2019 to appear on the reality show “Love Island.” Fury has participated in four fights since the show, winning all of them. His last win came in August, when he defeated Anthony Taylor as part of the undercard before the Paul-Woodley battle.
