Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) chairman and CEO Jeffrey P. Jacobs and his daughter, Caroline, yesterday, Monday, May 8, welcomed the arrival of Northeast Ohio’s newest premier dining cruise ship to her new home on the docks next to the Powerhouse on the Flats west bank.
Lady Caroline, a 120-foot-long, 15,000-square-foot luxury ship, was christened with a bottle of champagne after docking in her new slip on the Flats West Bank. The ship will begin its inaugural Cleveland season in early June.
The vessel is named after Jacobs’ daughter Caroline, who shares his passion for making a positive impact on Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
Cleveland Fire Department’s rescue boat Marine 17 welcomed Lady Caroline as the ship arrived at the dock and Caroline christened the ship with a bottle of champagne. Ward 3 Cleveland City Council member Kerry McCormack and Cuyahoga County executive Chris Ronayne spoke at the ceremony, which was hosted by MAJIC 105.7’s Mark Nolan.

Three of Lady Caroline’s four decks are fully enclosed and climate controlled, and feature a bright interior accented by high-gloss wood and reflective finishes. Its open-air sky deck features a covered bar with sweeping panoramic views of Lake Erie and Cuyahoga River,
While on their dinner cruises, guests will enjoy multiple bars, DJ entertainment, and a buffet meal. Seasoned Captain Scott Pearson will be at the ship’s helm.
Although Lady Caroline will soon take Nautica Queen’s place on the Cleveland skyline, which has been cruising Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga since 1992. JEI executive vice president

Lady Caroline will offer a variety of regular lunch, brunch, dinner, holiday, and special event cruises, as well as privately chartered corporate, group or wedding voyages.
