Islamic Center Vandalized in NE Minneapolis – WCCO
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)– The Dar Al-Qalam Cultural Center in Northeast Minneapolis was vandalized Sunday early morning when the security cams were duped the walls.
Around 2:40 a.m., the center’s security video camera video reveals a male eliminating the cams and smashing them. He existed 5 minutes prior to running away.
Abdifatah Abdi, executive director of Al-Qalam Cultural Center states he thinks this is the very same individual who burglarized numerous cars and trucks at the center about a week back.
Abdi likewise states that previously this month somebody burglarized his automobile at the mosque and after that went to his house.
Authorities ask anybody with info about the vandalism to call the Minneapolis Cops Department.
The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is asking authorities to examine the intention for the vandalism.
