‘Insecure’ will end after its fifth season

Issa Rae, the developer of the popular program, made the statement on Wednesday on Twitter, ahead of shooting for the 5th season.

“Very excited to film our fifth and final season! We couldn’t have told a complete story without the tremendous support of our audience and the faith of (HBO). See y’all soon!” she stated.

However this may not be completion of Rae on HBO. In a declaration, Amy Gravitt, executive vice president of HBO Shows, meant possible future jobs with Rae.

“This talented team has conceived a brilliant final season for ‘Insecure’ and we look forward to having many more stories to tell with this singular group of collaborators,” Gravitt stated.

“Insecure” follows the (mis)experiences of Issa Dee and her pal Molly as they browse life and love in their late 20s and early 30s while residing in Los Angeles.

The program, which won an Emmy at last year’s awards, was restored in Might for a 5th season. Table checks out for the season started in September, according to Rae’s social networks.
Though a release date for the last season has yet to be revealed, Rae informed CNN in June that fans can anticipate the season “to be different in a great way.”

“I think different in a way that the audience will expect and won’t expect,” Rae stated. “It’s definitely going to showcase some different sides to our characters. We’re trying something new next season that I’m excited about.”

No even more information were disclosed, so fans will simply need to tune in to learn.
