A firemen was shot while fighting a fire in northwestern Wisconsin.Justin Fredrickson, 35, reacted to a structure fire Friday in the Municipality of Willard.While he was running a tube line outside the structure, a crammed gun inside released and struck Fredrickson in the abdominal area. The packed gun released due to the fact that of heat conditions brought on by the fire, Cornell Fire Department Chief Dennis Klass stated in a press release. Fredrickson was required to a Ladysmith medical facility. He was then airlifted to Mayo Healthcare facility in Eau Claire where he went through surgical treatment. Fredrickson, a 16-year veteran of the Cornell Fire Department, remains in vital condition.
