Greece, France Successfully Complete Joint Military Exercise “Argo 22”

ATHENS – Greece and France successfully completed the bilateral joint exercise “Argo 22” on October 1, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) announced.

The amphibious exercise was held in the wider region of Volos, as well as on the islands of Aghios Efstratios and Skyros.

The aim of the military exercise was to increase the combat skills and strengthen cooperation and interoperability between the military forces of Greece and France, as well as to conduct advanced operational training in amphibious operations.

The exercise was designed and executed jointly by the Greek and French armed forces, while this year the HNDGS was responsible for its coordination.
