The Overstory, released in 2018, is a vast work that links several stories including a large cast of characters and 5 really unique trees. (It’s cool, actually.) Just like Benioff and Weiss’ formerly revealed adjustment of The Three-Body Issue for the banner, or the HBO series the duo is popular for, it’s the sort wide-angle, massive story the set appear to have a taste for — albeit one with more literary fare.
The Netflix adjustment has a script by Richard Robbins — previously of Excellent Ladies Revolt and 12 Monkeys — and Hugh Jackman is amongst the manufacturers included, along with The Overstory author Richard Powers, according to The Hollywood Press reporter. (Jackman is so far on board as a fan, and not a star.)
There’s no word on when to anticipate a best, or whether this will debut prior to or after the set’s Three-Body Issue adjustment.
Doubters will possibly value that both of Benioff and Weiss’ upcoming tasks have real endings, however.
