Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach delayed, free FNAF beat-’em-up released
5 Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will now release in late 2021, Scott Cawthon, the video game’s developer, stated Wednesday on Reddit. However Cawthon did drop a surprise beat-’em-up on the very same day, the 100% complimentary Security Breach: Fury’s Rage for Windows PC.
Initially, the hold-up: Cawthon informed fans “again, I’ve made the decision to put more time and money into [Security Breach] to make sure it’s finished properly.” Hence early 2021 is no longer an operative release window.
So fans didn’t feel shortchanged or left empty-handed, Cawthon “made something for the community,” which is Fury’s Rage.
“Just to be clear right off the bat, this game is called FURY’S Rage,” states its description on GameJolt. “NOT Furry’s Rage. So just get that straight.” Great to understand!
Looking rather like a Streets of Rage-design fighter, Fury’s Rage lets gamers select among 4 characters and take them through a number of phases, consisting of one inside the twisted arcade/pizzeria. Fury’s Rage is a single-player-only video game.
5 Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach was very first revealed in 2019, and Cawthon’s initial strategy was to roll it out by the end of 2020. That paved the way to early 2021 as the style group kept including on to the task, discovering they required more time to complete.
When it introduces, 5 Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. A gameplay trailer revealed throughout PlayStation’s February State of Play livestream has more.
