The star, preparing for his next action flick “Vikram Vedha” keeps giving a glimpse of his workout routine, which is simple, yet achieved with a lot of hard work. So, if you are looking to be as fit as Hrithik, you need to know a few secrets that help him achieve that unmatched physique.
  • Always combine exercise with nutrition: Hrithik time and again posts his exercising schedule on Instagram repeating the fact that results from exercising cannot be achieved till there’s proper, balanced nutrition involved. He stresses eating fruits, vegetables, and meats in proper quantities along with pumping iron to give the body the required energy.
  • Do weight training along with cardio: Hrithik balances his exercise routine along with his diet. Apart from taking care of cardio with running, swimming, jogging, and walks, he follows a rigorous four-day-a-week workout regime doing weights, and strength training.
  • Eat a high protein diet: Hrithik says he does not compromise on food and hence eats every three hours to keep the body fueled. He has a high protein diet along with fiber-rich foods. Having a sweet tooth, the actor says he also indulges in dark chocolate once in a while, which helps increase antioxidants in the body.
  • Never train alone, find a workout buddy: Hrithik says that one always needs inspiration to keep going to achieve one’s goals. And he advocates an exercise partner for there can be days when motivation is extremely low. Many times, on his Instagram reels we can see his two sons accompanying him, doing push-ups alongside. He feels that partners can encourage each other, and you can end up working harder.
  • Say no to steroids: Film stars often consume steroids to beef up for their movies. But Hrithik advises not to take them as steroids affect one’s metabolism and hurt fat storage in the body. Steroids also increase one’s appetite which can lead to massive weight gain later.
