Final Fantasy 9 animated series announced

Square Enix’s PlayStation role-playing video game Last Dream 9 is being adjusted into an animated series targeted at kids, manufacturer and supplier Cyber Group Studios revealed Tuesday.

The Last Dream 9 animated series is referred to as “an adventure animation series primarily aimed at 8-13-year-old kids and family audiences with respect to co-viewing” in Cyber Group’s press release. The program intends to “please game players, as the adaptation will maintain the world of the game thanks to the supervision of Square Enix, while incorporating some additional major production and entertainment value,” Cyber Group included.

A release window for Last Dream 9’s animated adjustment was not revealed.

Paris-based Cyber Group Studios was established in 2005. The business’s animated series consist of CGI programs like Gigantosaurus, Droners, My Goldfish is Evil, and Mirette Examines, along with series based upon Mini Ninjas, Zorro, and Tom Sawyer.

Last Dream 9 very first released in 2000 on PlayStation. It was re-released in 2016 on Android, iOS, and PC; on PlayStation 4 in 2017; and on Nintendo Change in 2019.
