LIBERTY CENTER — Liberty Center Local Schools will stage a full-scale emergency lockdown exercise Thursday.
The district reported the exercise is designed to evaluate response procedures and is being coordinator by a team of school administrators, safety resource officer deputy Nicky Ferguson, Henry County Emergency Management Agency Director Tracy Busch and Liberty-Washington Township Fire Department Chief Brian Baker.
The emergency exercise will take place at approximately 10 a.m. There will be limited access to the PK-12 buildings during the exercise. Any person who is not a participant in the drill will be prohibited from entering the building until the exercise concludes.
The district is advising residents that there will be a significant presence of emergency responders at Liberty Center Local Schools during this exercise.
