Whisk well to avoid lumps. Add orange rind and mix gently. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook for 3 minutes or as per directions given in it.

Once done remove from waffle maker and cool on wire racks. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the batter.

Serve with berries compote, jam, orange slices, and whipped cream.
