Dunivant becomes Sacramento Republic president in shakeup

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Ben Gumpert stated Monday he will resign as president and chief running officer of the United Soccer League’s Republic, a relocation revealed 3 days after Big league Soccer stated Ron Burkle had actually revoked prepare for a growth group in Sacramento.

Republic chairman Kevin Nagle stated basic supervisor Todd Dunivant will end up being group president of the second-tier club and will continue to supervise soccer operations.
