Destiny 2 ‘Operation Caliente’ emblem bugged or not unlocking

Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online multiplayer game where you can explore the mysteries of the solar system and experience first-person shooter combat.

Emblems are cosmetic banners in Destiny 2 that can be used to showcase feats and achievements of a Guardian who owns them. They have been part of the game since its inception.

According to reports, many Destiny 2 players are facing an issue where the ‘Operation Caliente’ emblem is bugged or not unlocking for them (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

In order to earn this emblem, a player must achieve 7,777 solar kills. However, there is currently an issue preventing players from earning this reward.

Some players have earned more than 8,000 solar kills, but the Bungie reward page is still showing ‘Not eligible for the emblem’, and the reward is grayed out.

I refreshed the page so many times I had enough solar kills but it kept saying I couldn’t redeem it so I just assumed it was a bug but then I came back the day before it was supposed to expire and it was still not fixed and I really did want that emblem

Issue Claiming “Operation Caliente” Emblem
A clan mate has been trying to claim this emblem, Operation Caliente, from Bungie rewards for quite awhile now. He exceeds the number of solar kills this season by a lot, is logged in, has refreshed, etc but cannot claim the emblem.
Since the deadline is approaching, does anyone have a suggested fix for this?

Since the time frame to claim this reward has passed, players are unsure whether they would get this reward now or not.

Issue acknowledged

Fortunately, Bungie Help has now recognized and said that they are working on the issue where Operation Caliente’s emblem is not unlocking. However, they did not provide a timeline for when it will be fixed.
