It is sweet, tangy, and mustard-y, and we cannot get enough of it. While it goes perfectly hand-in-hand with the nuggets, you can use this sauce on almost any chicken – and you really should. It is just that darn good.

    While we believe that fresh is always best, this recipe would do just fine with store-bought bottled lemon juice.

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, sugar, mustard, and garlic powder until smooth.

  • Add in vinegar, cider vinegar, and lemon juice and whisk until well combined. Cover and store in the refrigerator.
