Check your Obama privilege, by Michelle Malkin
Former President Barack Obama’s bitter partner is at it once again. Simply when you believe the previous very first girl’s deep well of racial animosity has actually run dry, her headline-generating complaints gush forth once again. Gripe springs everlasting.
Today, Michelle Obama informed Oprah Winfrey’s bestie Gayle King on CBS News that “many of us still live in fear” after the conviction of previous Minneapolis law enforcement officer Derek Chauvin in the George Floyd case. By “us,” she obviously implies black Americans. However Obama (approximated net worth with her partner: $70 million-$135 million) and King (annual income at CBS: $5.5 million) aren’t simply any black Americans. Their twin self-delusions are a sight to witness.
“(Going) to the grocery store” strikes worry in her heart, Mrs. O bellyached. (Never ever mind the life time Trick Service security and tax-subsidized travel expenses she gets to the tune of approximately $500,000 annually.)
Simply “walking our dogs” chills the bone, King chimed in. (Never ever mind the personal security information she takes a trip with, thus numerous stars in her strata do.)
And the icing on weak Michelle’s grievance cake? This “driving while black” lament: “Allowing our children to get a license” is scary, the multimillionaire elitist sighed and decried, since “every time they get in a car by themselves, I worry about what assumption is being made by somebody who doesn’t know everything about them. The fact that they are good students and polite girls, but maybe they’re playing their music a little loud, maybe somebody sees the back of their head and makes an assumption. I, like so many parents of black kids … the innocent act of getting a license puts fear in our hearts.”
Oh, horse-hockey. I’ll wager my grocery costs no one ever “makes an assumption” about the Obama children presenting any criminal danger ever since of their hairdos or loud vehicle stereo. No one would even get close enough to them, for beginners, what with their Trick Service representatives trailing them from school to the fitness center to the club.
However don’t take my word for how watchful the armed security is for bubble-wrapped Malia and Sasha. Simply 2 years earlier, Mrs. Moany McMoaner herself was kvetching to King (who else?) about how universal the women’ bodyguards were. In a 2019 interview on CBS News, Michelle Obama explained how she would need to contact the children’ buddies’ moms and dads and caution them:
“This is the call. It’s like: ‘Hello. OK. We’re going to need your Social Security number. We’re going to need your date of birth. There are going to be men coming to sweep your house. If you have guns and drugs, just tell them yes because they are going to find it anyway. … Oh, by the way, there is going to be a man with a gun sitting outside of your door all night. Let him come in and use the bathroom; it would just be nice.”
Issue is she. The trials and adversities of governmental households are excessive to bear. “Imagine trying to have your first kiss” around “a bunch of men” with weapons and earpieces, Mrs. O carped to King. “I’m surprised my kids have any friends, you know?” she joked (sort of).
As typical, Michelle Obama’s timing is flawless. Her most current anti-white, anti-cop tirade comes as emasculated cops departments accept the antifa-Black Lives Matter mob, as obedient Americans (the majority of them white) are bothered and surveilled by the feds for just participating in the Jan. 6 Trump rally, and as metropolitan black opponents continue to beat the crap out of senior Asians from coast to coast. Regrettably for these racially profiled targets of violence, there are no big guys with weapons and earpieces to safeguard them from damage.
A message for Her Royal Highness: Attempt less mindset. More appreciation. Prior to you snivel about “systemic racism,” examine your own Obama advantage. It overfloweth.
