Bradley Cooper reveals he was held at knifepoint on NYC subway

The “Star is Born” star stated the entire occurrence turned “pretty insane” when he was approached by a male on the train at 11:45 a.m.
“I remember seeing the person’s eyes and was taken by how young they were,” Cooper stated on the “Armchair Expert” podcast with Dax Shepard.

Cooper stated he had actually been using earphones and could not hear outdoors sound, however saw the guy pointing a knife, which he referred to as having a two-to-three-inch blade and a wood deal with, at him.

Cooper ran and leapt a gate inside the station, then went to the entryway, where he had the ability to get outdoors.

“I just started booking, just started running,” he stated. “I jumped over the turnstile, hid around the white, tiled entrance to the subway (and) took my phone out. (The suspect) jumped over, running away. I took a photo of him. Then I chased him up the stairs. He started running up 7th Avenue.”

He stated he had the ability to snap 2 more pictures of the guy then reported the occurrence to a neighboring policeman.

He then needed to go get his child from school and included that he had actually gotten too comfy in the city.

“My guard was down,” he included. “I realized I had gotten way, way too comfortable in this city.”
