BlizzConline 2021 schedule: Diablo 4, World of Warcraft, and Overwatch 2
Blizzard Home entertainment launched the schedule for this year’s BlizzCon — an online-only occasion called BlizzConline — revealing what fans can anticipate from the two-day digital program. While the BlizzConline 2021 schedule doesn’t provide excessive information, it appears that both the Wow and Diablo franchises will be a significant focus at the occasion.
BlizzConline will start Friday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. PST with an opening event. According to the schedule, that will run simply over an hour. The opening event will be followed by a set of “What’s Next” panels for Wow and Diablo. Normally, those panels at BlizzCon provide extra insight into statements made throughout the program’s opening events.
While we don’t anticipate a brand-new growth for World of Warcraft, considered that Shadowlands simply gotten here in November, information on an approaching material spot might be exposed. Blizzard’s other variation of its enormously multiplayer online video game, Wow Classic, might be a focus too. Blizzard recently reportedly surveyed players about interest in bringing the Burning Crusade expansion to Classic.
As for Diablo, we know that Diablo 4 is in the works, as is Diablo Immortal, the mobile variation of Blizzard’s action role-playing video game. A remake or remaster of Diablo 2 is also apparently in the works at Blizzard, courtesy of Vicarious Visions, the developer behind recent Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remakes.
Diablo and World of Warcraft will also be the subject of “Deep Dive” and developer Q&A panels at BlizzConline.
Blizzard’s other properties (Overwatch, Hearthstone, and StarCraft) appear to have a smaller presence at the show. Overwatch 2 will get a behind-the-scenes look on Friday, and Hearthstone will be the subject of a “Deep Dive” that will offer “a closer look at what’s coming” to the competitive card video game in 2021.
Activision Blizzard set expectations for Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2’s release dates previously this month throughout a financier discussion, when it validated that neither title is anticipated to show up prior to 2022.
BlizzConline will happen Feb. 19-20, and will be totally free to see.
