Atlanta penalty report

NASCAR’s charge report from last weekend’s races at Atlanta Motor Speedway consists of 2 lug nut offenses in the Xfinity Series and one in the Outdoor camping World Truck Series.

Xfinity team chiefs Alex Yontz (No. 11 Kaulig Racing – motorist Justin Haley) and Richard Boswell (No. 98 Stewart-Haas Racing – motorist Riley Herbst) were both fined $5,000 after one lug nut was discovered not protected on their particular cars and trucks throughout post-race evaluation.

Saturday’s winning Truck team chief, Mardy Lindley (No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports – motorist Kyle Busch), was fined $2,500 for the exact same infraction.

There were no offenses from the Cup Series.
