Amitabh Bachchan, who is recovering from a rib injury, has resumed work. He also cheered for Abhishek Bachchan whose Pro Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers was honoured at Indian Sports Honours awards in Mumbai.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is recovering from a rib injury after he met with an accident on the sets of his film Project K, gave a health update on Thursday night. The 80-year-old actor shared that he has resumed work already.

Talking to his daily blog on Tumblr, Bachchan wrote, “So despite the inconvenience of damaged body .. there must be desire and effort to repair .. which is being done with care and comfort of the Ef (extended family) and well wishers , and for which there is repeated gratitude and love ..”
He then added that while he has not completed recovered, he has recommenced work after taking a break for a few weeks. “Work schedules have been done and the charts start filling up again .. to the joy of the ‘moi’ .. for there is no better pastime than work,” he wrote.
The Baaghban actor also shared that he is still under treatment for his rib injury. He wrote, ” Yes the rib and toe are in a state of revolt .. but revolts must be tendered with and a solution to be found .. and find we must ..”
During the shoot of Project K in Hyderabad, Amitabh had suffered a serious injury to the rib cartilage and a muscle tear. Earlier, this month, the veteran actor had shared this news in his blog post and had added that all his work commitments had to be cancelled as he recuperates at his Mumbai home.
Bachchan has been updating his fans about his health regularly. Earlier this week he had shared that he was in “extreme pain” and doctors had to be called at his home late in the night. He had written, “The rib continues in its painful journey .. but another erupts at the toe and draws attention greater than the rib .. so .. the rib diminishes and the attention drifts to the toe .. the hand that wrote endlessly and with great endeavour, brought down by the pain of its continuous use .. put it in warm or hot water .. no results .. so mentally shift it to the other hand .. now the other paineth and the original be safe and secure .. and in work mode …”
Bachchan then took to his social media platforms to give a shout out to his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan for winning several awards recently. Sharing pictures of Junior Bachchan, AB wrote, “YEEEAAAAHHHHHHH .. Abhishek ! my pride FilmFare Best Actor – ‘DASVI’ .. Jaipur Pink Panthers , which you own, wins Championship League in Kabaddi .. And .. now JPP wins the Virat Kohli Foundation Sports Honours trophy versus other league teams of Football and Cricket ! 👏💪 2022-2023.”
