2 paddleboarders rescued from Lake Michigan Sunday night

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis (CBS 58) —

2 paddleboarders are safe today after getting stranded on Lake Michigan Sunday night.

It took place near N. Palisades Rd and Lake Dr.

Whitefish Bay dispatchers had the ability to ping their cellular phone after the paddleboarders called 911.

Glendale cops utilized a drone overhead to identify possible light from the stranded paddleboarders phones.

The United States Coast guard and Milwaukee Fire Department existed to assist.

The DNR and a Milwaukee fire boat had the ability to make the rescue.
