1 killed when trench collapses in Grain Valley, Missouri

Authorities in Grain Valley stated a guy passed away when a trench collapsed Wednesday.Emergency teams were called about 1:30 p.m. to the 600 block of Southwest Hillside Drive.The Occupational Security and Health Administration informed KMBC9 News that teams with Preferred Pipes Inc. out of Kingsville, were setting up pipes lines for houses under building in a 10-foot deep trench when it collapsed.Authorities recognized the victim as 47-year old Jeremiah Joseph Brown.OSHA stated its examination will figure out if trench protective systems were being utilized.
